Clouds linger today, but dry stretch to follow | Weather
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) — This afternoon will stay cloudy and cool, but spotty showers will come to an end as we slowly dry out. A light northeasterly breeze will continue which will keep temperatures in the 50’s to near 60 degrees.
Cool, cloudy conditions will continue this evening into the overnight with lows near 50. High pressure slowly builds into New England tomorrow and will hold through at least Friday, allowing for a nice stretch of weather. Tomorrow will feature mostly cloudy skies, but some sunshine too. It will be warmer with high near 70. Thursday and Friday are looking very nice with quite a bit of sunshine and warm afternoon highs reaching in the low to middle 70s.
Temperatures look to be closer to normal over the weekend as a cool northeast flow returns to New England. It should stay mainly dry though as high pressure to our North keeps rain and storminess to our south and west. The dry weather will likely last into the start of next week as well with temperatures slowly moderating back into the low to mid 70’s.
