- April 28, 2017 – Christopher Bailey (19) – Bay and Edgewood Streets (Shooting took place on April 27, victim died the following day)
- May 7, 2017 – Shawn Ragland (26) – 20 Carver St.
- May 11, 2017 – Ivery Lee Downie (36) – 3111 Main St.
- May 21, 2017 – Luz M. Vazquez (42) – 15 Amore Rd.
- June 3, 2017 – Derieke Walker, II (22) – 944 Worthington St.
- June 4, 2017 – Warren Payne, Jr. (27) – 1534 State St.
- June 8, 2017 – Chauncy Marshall (31) – 1534 State St. (Shooting took place on June 4).
- August 25, 2017 – Mark Mayweather (29) – 82 Albemarle St.
- August 27, 2017 – William Allen (37) – 25 Aster St.
- September 4, 2017 – David Correa (27) – Orchard St.
- September 8, 2017 – Rhakishon Pedraza (29) – Union St and Eastern Ave.
- September 26, 2017 – Unidentified Victim – Baldwin St.
- October 19, 2017 – David Pichardo (27) – 300th block of Boston Road
For comparison to previous years, there were 12 homicides in Springfield in 2016, 18 in 2015, 14 in 2014, 19 in 2013, and 12 in 2012.
