Mark S. Levesque, 55, of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, May 4, 2023. He passed into Eternal Life from his home surrounded by all the memories that he loved and cherished. He was born in Springfield on February 1, 1968, a beloved son of Faith M. (Samsel) Levesque of Springfield and the late Paul L. Levesque. He was raised in Springfield, graduated in 1986 from the former Classical High School, attended college, and was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He was an Apprentice Electrician and worked for many contractors locally. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Springfield. He was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt, fish, and ride his quads at his camp in Huntington. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. In addition to his beloved mother, he leaves his extended family members and numerous friends. His family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107, (funeral home will open at 9 a.m.). His Burial will follow the Celebration Service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA 01129. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. His family requests that memorial donations be made in Mark’s memory to the Friends for TJO Animals, 66 Industry Avenue, Suite 3, Springfield, MA 01104.
