John D. Fiorini, Sr.
1944 – 2023
Springfield
John Donald Fiorini, Sr., 78, affectionately known as Jack, peacefully passed away at home on May 11, 2023. Born in Springfield, and raised in Agawam, he was the son of the late John & Rosanna (Collette) Fiorini.
During his early career, Jack found his calling as a concrete building inspector. He took great pride in his work, and his expertise was sought after for many significant projects in the greater Springfield area. Later in life, Jack established his own business, American Messenger Service & operated it for over 30 years.
Jack loved the freedom of the open road. Whether he was cruising in his beloved hot rods, taking leisurely drives, or on a job, Jack found solace in the thrill of the journey. He also found peace in nature, often spending time fishing and taking walks in local parks. Another of his passions was painting. With his unique style, he created countless works of art that captured his vision.
He is survived by his children, John Fiorini, Jr., Michael Fiorini, Josh Fiorini, & Jenn Fiorini, grandchildren, John Michael, Jill & Caroline Fiorini, and great-grandchildren, Charlotte & Avery Camp.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Jack’s life Friday morning, May 26, from 9 to 10 at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, proceeding to his committal service at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
