A 21-year-old Springfield woman who died in a crash near the Massachusetts-Connecticut border earlier in May was remembered by her family and loved ones as a “devoted” mother of three children who was “full of life.”
Jemyliana Vargas, 21, of Springfield, was killed in an Interstate 91 crash in Longmeadow just over the Enfield, Connecticut border on May 7, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Vargas was a “devoted” mother who would always go “above and beyond to make ends meet for her and” her three kids, according to her obituary.
Along with her devotion to her children, she’s remembered as an “amazing daughter, sister, aunt, cousin & friend.”
“Jemyliana was an incredible woman who was full of life and brought joy to everyone she encountered,” read her obituary. Vargas was best known for her “big, beautiful smile” and “generous spirit.”
Her loved ones said no matter what obstacle life threw her way, she stayed strong and would always be ready to lend “a helping hand without hesitation.”
Vargas’ family and loved ones held her funeral services on May 16.
