Mark T. Cieboter, Jr. 38, a resident of Springfield, died late Tuesday evening, May 23, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center, with his loving family at his side. He was born and educated in Springfield, a son of Mark T. Cieboter, Sr. and Ann E. (Brawders) Cieboter of Springfield, and was a graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 2002. Mark was an avid sports enthusiast who followed the local Boston teams, most importantly the Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots. He enjoyed visiting the beaches of Maine, but more importantly, he treasured the time spent with his family, especially his two children. Besides his devoted parents he leaves his two loving children, Stanley T. and Mabel A. Cieboter and their mother, Kelly (Cascio) Cieboter all of East Longmeadow; his sister, Nora C. Cieboter along with her fiancé Michael Gables and her daughter, Lily of Agawam; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Brawders of Ludlow; his paternal grandmother, Sandra Cieboter of Feeding Hills; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert Brawders; his paternal grandfather, Theodore Cieboter; and his aunt, Amy Thomas. Relatives and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday afternoon, May 30th from 4-6 PM followed by a funeral home service beginning at 6:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen St., Springfield. Burial will be private. Mark’s family would request those in attendance to please dress casually to support your favorite sports team.
