Boston and Cape Cod will have another day of rain and colder temperatures on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
In Boston, rain is likely before 1 p.m. and after 4 p.m., according to the weather service. It’ll also only reach a high of 61 degrees.
On Cape Cod, rain is likely before 2 p.m. and after 3 p.m. with a high of about 58 degrees, the weather service predicted.
The rest of the week continues to have possible rain. Thunderstorms are possible in Boston after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
The weather service has also issued a high surf advisory, warning there could be “large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet in the surf zone.”
“Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions,” the weather service said.
There is less of a chance of rain in Worcester on Monday. Although it is expected to be cloudy with a high near 64 degrees. Similarly, Tuesday could bring thunderstorms.
Western Massachusetts is the least likely to have rain Monday. It is also expected to be the warmest with a high of 72 degrees.
