Margaret M. Killeen-Seipel
1943 – 2023
Margaret M. Killeen-Seipel, 80, passed away on November 22, 2023 at JGS Lifecare in Longmeadow. Born in Springfield, MA on May 27, 1943, to the late Michael R. and Alice (Campbell) Albano, she graduated from Agawam High School. She then received her X-ray Technician certificate from Mercy Hospital.
For 30 years, she was employed at Baystate Medical Center, retiring in 2006. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed gardening, reading and embroidery.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward P. Killeen who passed away in 1985 and her son Michael Killeen who passed away in 2011.
To cherish her memory, Margaret leaves her husband of over 30 years, Roy B. Seipel; her son Donald Killeen and his wife Lisa of Ludlow and her granddaughter Sara Killeen.
The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the staff at JGS Lifecare for their loving and compassionate care of Margaret.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 9 – 10 AM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow, MA. A funeral home service will be held at 10 AM followed by committal services in St. Michael’s Cemetery, State Street, Springfield, MA.
