Pittsfield Family YMCA launches national search for new CEO

PITTSFIELD — The Berkshire Family YMCA has launched a national search for a new chief executive officer.

This search is conducted in partnership with the YMCA of the USA. The incoming CEO will guide the organization through strategic initiatives, foster valuable community partnerships, and uphold its mission of inclusivity, health and empowerment.

The new leader will succeed Jessica Rumlow, who left at the end of last year to become chief operations officer for the Alliance of Massachusetts YMCAs. The organization last month appointed Christian Bianchi to serve as interim CEO and executive director until the job is filled on a permanent basis.

The deadline for resumes is Feb. 12 at noon CST. Interested applicants can apply online at tinyurl.com/berkshire-family-ymca-ceo.

Search process target dates include preliminary interviews, March 19-20; in-person interviews, April 10-11; CEO selection, week of April 15; and the anticipated start date, June 1 or earlier.
