Joan Bruins, age 86, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.
Joan was a member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church and was an employee at Zeeland Community Hospital for 24 years. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Bruins; and siblings, Alvin Boeve, Edwin Boeve, and Marian Boeve.
She is survived by her son, Jerry and Lori Bruins; daughter, Linda and Jeff Joling; daughter, Judy and Curt Beadle; son, Jim and Lori Bruins; grandchildren, Daniel Bruins, Sarah and Brad Vincent (Reese, Zoe, Emmett, Ryder), Autum and Matt Tanguay (Hailey, Molly), Brad Beadle, Katie Bruins, Brady Bruins, Carly Bruins; sister-in-law, Marge Boeve; brother, Jake and Jan Boeve; sister, Joyce and Ron Dalman; and sister, Jean and Dave Sybesma..
Visitation with the family is 2:00-2:45 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 515 East Main St. Zeeland, MI 49464. Funeral services to immediately follow at 3:00 pm the same day with Rev. Jon Bosma officiating.
Burial to take place in Restlawn Cemetery.
