With profound sadness, the family of Anne T. Wilson announces her peaceful passing surrounded by her loved ones on March 21, 2024. Anne was a selfless woman who opened her heart not only to her family, but anyone who was blessed to be a part of her journey. Born in Worcester MA on December 11,1932 to the late Henry and Raffaela (Buono) Williams, Anne was raised and educated there. She was wedded to her true love, Ralph Wilson, in 1951, and together they began their life together, committed to each other, and to their future children. Anne created a home for her family filled with love and warmth while instilling in her children the true values that would enrich their lives. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Navy for twenty years and with dedicated support, Anne followed to each new location, along with their 5 children. Anne also found a career in the insurance industry and worked in an administrative capacity in several companies, retiring at Cigna Insurance Co. She embraced life with faith, generosity, and love. Anne loved gatherings with family and friends, opening her home and enjoying the preparation as well as the event. Her love for her family, as well as her friends, was unwavering and unconditional, defining the very essence of who she was. When Anne did take time for herself, she could be found at the local health club, Fitness First, where she became an endeared friend to many of the members. She will be dearly missed, and the impact of her life will continue to be felt through memories shared by those who loved and had the honor of knowing her.
Surviving Anne, is her devoted daughter Bernadette and her husband Lawrence Aube, loving sons, Michael Wilson and his wife Debra and Mark Wilson and his wife Tami. She is also survived by her beloved siblings Priscilla, Beverly, Donna, Louis and his wife Roberta and Henry. To carry on her legacy, she leaves eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved Ralph, and her beloved children Cheryl Cina and Ronald Wilson.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday April 3,2024 from 4-6 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street in Agawam. Family and friends will gather at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday April 4,2024 at the funeral home and proceed to St John the Evangelist Church 833 Main Street for a liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. followed by committal services at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery at 11 A.M.
