A 3-year-old boy is safe after he was in a car that was stolen in western Massachusetts Friday morning, triggering an Amber Alert, Massachusetts State Police said.The child, Liam David Pagan, 3, was found safe at the Rodeway Inn in Windsor, Connecticut, at about 10:40 a.m., Massachusetts State Police said.Surveillance video obtained by NewsCenter 5 shows the red Toyota Camry, which was reported stolen, stopping in the parking lot before a man exited. He walks around the vehicle, takes the child out and returns to the driver’s seat. The child is left wandering the parking lost after the car drives away. He was later identified by as Vadim Vorobyov, 52, of Springfield. “Investigation indicates he dropped the child off at the Rodeway Inn and then drove to the shopping plaza where he left the car. Hotel employees contacted police,” according to state police.State police said Vorobyov will be charged with kidnapping, child endangerment, and fugitive from justice in Connecticut and is also expected to be charged with kidnapping, child endangerment, and motor vehicle larceny in Massachusetts. Before the child and suspect were located, the red Toyota Camry, was found at Stop & Shop, also on Kennedy Road.
