Holly Ann Elmer
Greenfield, MA – Holly Ann Elmer, 55, of Hastings Street died Easter Sunday 3/31/24 at Baystate Franklin medical Center in Greenfield. She was born in Greenfield on December 30, 1968, the daughter of Herbert Elmer and Lorraine (Doucette) (McNamara) Elmer.
She graduated from Franklin County Technical School in 1988.
Holly participated in The Special Olympics for years. She was proud of the many medals she received for swimming and bowling.
Music and dancing were very important to Holly throughout her life as well as her close friendships.
Some of her hobbies included playing cards, word search puzzle books, and art.
Among her survivors, Holly leaves her sister, Marjorie Wheelock, of Ithaca, New York, her brother Douglas McNamara of Turners Falls, Aunt and Uncle Fred and Anita Maki of Illinois, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 6 at 10 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal St., Greenfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Greenfield.
A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Kostanski Funeral Home, 220 Federal St., Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Arc of Franklin County 294 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376.
