PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Pittsfield police are looking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery.
The Pittsfield Police Department shared several photos of a person they believe is involved in an armed robbery just before 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 30th. The suspect is a man who walked into Lipton Mart gas station located at 320 West Housatonic St., showed a black handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and other items.
Police say that he may have come from the Barker Road area and left heading north on Britton Street towards the train tracks. Police are asking those who live or have a business in these areas, including Merriam/South Merriam Streets, Catherine Street, and Jason Street, to check surveillance cameras for anything suspicious.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8″ to 5’10″ tall, wearing gray ripped jeans, black sneakers, blue “Patriots” short sleeve hoodie over a red long-sleeve hoody with white paint stains on both sleeves, red gloves, a white face mask, dark sunglasses, gray hat with an oval shape on the front and possibly wearing a fake nose of some type.
