EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The 38th annual Rotary Summer Concert Series continued Wednesday night in East Longmeadow.
Music lovers gathered for the 3rd night of the 8-week concert series to see the local band “Project 267” take the stage. This event is part of the Rotary Club’s mission to give back to the western Massachusetts community.
22News spoke to an organizer who says this is a beloved community event that many look forward to each year.
“It’s a good feeling you know, seeing the community come out and it’s a summer tradition now for 38 years,” said Kevin Cook, East Longmeadow Rotary Club Concert Chairman. “To see the same families come out when they are kids before and now parents bringing their kids. It’s a really nice thing to see every summer.”
Town resident Judy Severin adds, “It’s excellent! You can’t beat the music.”
There will be a new concert every Wednesday until August 17th.
