Lowell Junior High football team wins the Northeast title – Lowell Sun

Ryan Conley rushed for a pair of touchdowns and made a pair of interceptions, as the Lowell Junior High School football team avenged its only regular season loss by beating Goffstown, NH, 22-16, in the Northeast Championship final at Bedford High School.

Anthony Perez broke into the end zone for Lowell’s third TD rush of the contest. Quarterback Seth Ly connected with Conley on a conversion pass, while Perez added a conversion rush rounding out the scoring. Offensively Lowell was fueled by the heady play of Maverick Paquette, Tim Steinberg, Jarrod Tapia, Ricky Phom, Gabe Cuertas, Andrew Adie, Luis Guerido and Jonsyn Sim.

Defensively the team was anchored by Noah Florence, Braden Rivard, Collin Christiansen, Nate Rom, Darien Ouk and Lucas Mcteague. Perez made one of his team’s three interceptions. In addition to his two picks, Conley also recovered a fumble enroute to the victory.
