MASSIVE SNOW STORM hits Boston, and other world weather events 🇺🇸 02/25/2022

A video looking at weather around the world on February 25th 2022, including a snow storm hitting New England, USA; floods in the UK, Australia and South Africa; and an earthquake in Indonesia.

A heavy snow storm has hit New England in the USA with up to a foot of snow expected today. Heavy snow has already been seen, including in Boston, where authorities are working to clear roads.

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit Pasaman Barat, Indonesia destroying buildings and causing landslides. Hundreds were left homeless, with many more people severely impacted.

The effects of the earthquake were also felt in nearby Malaysia and Singapore.

Elsewhere in Indonesia, floods caused damage following days of heavy rain, including in Kupang.

Flooding also affected Malaysia, centered on the Klang Valley area, as rivers burst their banks.

In South Africa, floods were seen affecting the Soweto region of Johannesburg following heavy rain.

Also in Africa, heavy rain caused flooding in Kenya as roads filled with water in Narok, stopping traffic.

In the UK, the after effects of Storm Franklin, combined with the previous Storm Eunice and Storm Dudley has led to widespread flooding near the River Severn, with flood waters only now subsiding.

Further warnings are in place in the UK due to the potential of more bad weather from Storm Gladys, with the potential for more high winds, heavy rain and snowfall in the coming days.

In Saudi Arabia and the UAE, floods have been seen caused by poor drainage following rains in desert regions.

Evacuation warnings are in place for Queensland, Australia, as heavy rain in the region around Brisbane caused floods. Sirens sounded to alert citizens of the danger to families and their homes.

In India, forest fires have been seen near the city of Tirupati, with firefighters working to contain the blaze.
