Shawsheen 7, Blue Hills 0
Senior pitcher Jack Glennon threw a complete game shutout as Shawsheen (5-0) blanked Blue Hills.
The Shawsheen staff ace, Glennon took a no-hitter into the seventh before surrendering Blue Hill’s lone hit of the night. He worked very efficiently from the mound, throwing 69 pitches and fanning four. Catcher Robbie Welch called a great game behind the dish. Glennon was also bolstered by some gold glove defense behind him. Junior Mike Maselli came up clutch for Shawsheen with two hits, two walks and five RBI. Mavrick Bourdeau (two runs), Owen Duggan 9two hits, three runs) and Brendan Lee (hit, RBI) were also offensive sparkplugs.

Lowell 8, Chelmsford 3
Matt Desroches held a potent Lions lineup to one hit, as Lowell clipped Chelmsford.
Desroches spun a gem through five strong frames, fanning six while allowing one run. Jack Aylward sparked the offense with a pair of hits including an RBI double. Declan Silva (two hits, RBI) and Ethan Chanthompalit (hit, RBI), also came through with timely hits.

North Andover 9, Dracut 2
C.J. Carpentier went 3-fot-3 with three RBI as North Andover downed Dracut.
The Middies lineup was bolstered by Ben Pashoian (four hits, RBI), Anthony Fazio (three hits , three runs) and Bobby Roth (hit, RBI).

Oyster River 13, Pelham 2
Pelham’s Alex Carroll drove in an RBI in the bottom of the sixth, but his team was peppered by Oyster River.
Matt Todino led off the game with a single and added a sacrifice fly in the third. Cesar Martinez and Zach James also contributed hits against OR starter Andy Carlson. Henry Paquette picked up the loss.
Next up for Pelham, a meeting with Sanborn, April 18.

North Middlesex 16, Marlboro 0
Michael Archambault went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, as North Middlesex showed no mercy to Marlboro, beating them in a four-inning mercy rule massacre.
Brady Reardon drove in three RBI, with Michael Arbuckle adding two, in this offensive flurry.

Softball
Billerica 14, Lawrence 2
Junior second baseman Emily Burdick went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI, as Billerica levelled Lawrence.
After scoring a pair of runs in the first, Billerica’s lineup exploded for 12 runs in the second inning. Catcher Morgan Jones was an offensive catalyst going 3-for-4, with two runs and two RBI. That was all the offense senior captain Samantha Lee (1-0) would need. The pitcher surrendered five hits in five innings, fanning three and allowing two earned runs for the win.

Oyster River 15, Pelham 3
Brooke Slaton drilled a three-run home run and played well defensively, but Pelham (0-3) was unable to silence the Oyster River (1-1) offense.
Pelham slugger Christina Louh laced a double in the loss, while Bella Furtado and Shaelyn Hinton had strong defensive games.

Billerica 14, Belmont 4
Julia Trainor scored seven goals and added two assists, as Belmont (2-2 MVC, 3-2 overall) bombed Belmont.
Sara MacLeod paced the attack potting five goals, helping her team establish the 11-1 lead at halftime. Paige Murphy and
Audrey Toce rounded out the goal-scoring attack. Goaltender Katelyn D’Agostino made five saves, while backup Keira Moore stopped a pair.

Boys Lacrosse
Alvirne 13, Kennet 10
Wric Allard scored six goals as Alvirne defeated Kennet
The Alvirne offense was fueled by hat tricks from Cole Bucknam and Cedric Beaulieu. Connor Hall also potted a goal. The defensive was led by the great goaltending of Ayden Kelly.
