CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Montgomery Street Thursday evening.
According to police, officers were called to the area of 1296 Montgomery Street around 6:15 p.m. Thursday for a shooting incident. CPD has assured the public that there is no immediate threat to safety in the area, but to find alternate routes to avoid any potential disruptions.
This incident remains and ongoing investigation, and we will continue to provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.
